MAKING LOVE

MAKING LOVE
Making love involves sex, that much is true
Many actions performed are shared by the two
But making love is so very much more
None the least of which is the love at its core
Whereas sex is a puddle, making love is an ocean
Filled with the very best of human emotion
The altruistic desires, the partner to please
True passion's fires, hearts given with ease
A sharing of souls, a likeness of mind
Every word, every kiss, every touch done kind
Cuddling together when all else is done

Desiring forever to be together as one
Sex is for people who really don't care
Making love is something that two people share
Sex is physical through from the start
Making love is done with the mind and the heart

  1. This is my poem and I have not given you permission to use it. I have also noted that you have several of my other poems on this site. They must be removed or I will see you in court for violation of copyright. I will also post this page all over Facebook so that other poets might also see what you are doing with their work.
