Pulling the cart uphill with skinny legs
The dirty rags barely sheltering emaciated body
He pushes pedals all day long to make ends meet
Not knowing if the day be good tomorrow
If he'll get up with first light to start the same routine
I felt ashamed to sit like queen
While he was wheeling ,amazed where source of energy
In this scrawny silhouette to drive through the bumps
Holes ,people ,yet at the closer look I understood
Born on the wrong side of town
With all the bonuses that come with it
Determination in the eyes would tell the story
In spite of all he wants to persevere
